Duct Sealing

Aeroseal is a duct-sealing process developed and patented by the U.S. Dept. of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to combat problems related to wasted energy, poor air distribution, and a variety of indoor air quality (IAQ) issues caused by air-duct leakage. Most homeowners are typically blind to these problems after coming to feel that excess dust, uneven cooling or heating of rooms, and IAQ symptoms associated with “sick home syndrome” are normal; they don’t see that these issues are a result of leaky ducts. Since most ductwork is concealed within walls and other hard-to-get places, until the advent of Aeroseal there was no cost-effective way to seal existing household ductwork. Aeroseal works from the inside using a non-toxic aerosol process that seals only the gaps and cracks, thereby reducing leakage—in many cases, by over 90%. Aeroseal Global is one of the pioneers of Aeroseal duct sealing technology dealer in Quebec based out of the greater Montreal area, and is fully licensed by them.
